Selected and adapted BodyParts3D 4.0 meshes. See anatomy.json for original file identifiers, coordinate conversion, colors, skin cropping and known omissions. The anatomical still is a render of these same meshes. Illustrative teaching highlights are additions and are not part of the source data.

Colonoscopy Explorer teaching additions: the hand-fitted scope route, animated scope and tip, separate schematic interior lining, residue, polyp, sample and movement dots are new illustrations. They are not a segmented atlas lumen, patient anatomy, clinical footage or a demonstration of procedural technique. The original atlas meshes and their identifiers have been retained.

are original schematic geometry implemented for this educational Site. No
clinical image or figure from the cited research article is reproduced.
The segment is separate from BodyParts3D and does not reconstruct its lumen.
